Can't Get Enough

The Good Luck Joes are absolutely amazing. They're a toxic blend of Keane and maybe a hint of Maroon Five, Ben Folds, and a dab of Counting Crows. Catchy lyrics and harmonies...all swirled into a delicious concoction that I've been repeatedly playing. The entire CD is kickin', but I adore the following tracks: "48 Hours," and "No You Don't." So if anything, check out those two tracks, let alone the entire disc. Visit their Myspace site, as well for a free listen, and then dont' forget to pay them some well deserved respect on iTunes.
If you haven't already heard of Regina Spektor, there's a good chance you will. She has an absolutely beautiful voice that sounds like a tidbit like Sarah McLachlan...except with more introspective lyrics. I skimmed Pitchfork's review, and I thought they were a little too harsh. They gave her a 7.5. I say it's more of an 8. She's definitely an acquired taste, but the more I listen the more I enjoy. Listen to "Fidelity," "20 Years of Snow," and "Summer in the City.
